Documenting The Global Dance Experience.
Jocelyn Edelstein founded the Urban Body Project in 2007 after living in Brazil and being deeply impacted by the way dance influences community cross-culturally. UBP seeks to fuel the relationship between dance, culture and community through film and other multi-media forms of expression. Jocelyn is the director and co-producer of Urban Body Project, Giros and Social Construct Film's upcoming documentary, Believe The Beat, which follows the hip hop dance movement in Rio de Janeiro.
Jocelyn co-directs Words In Woods and works as a dancer, teacher, choreographer and writer, based out of Portland, Oregon. More of her work can be found at jocelynedelstein.com.
